Since 1967. Today with the help of 100’s of volunteers, sponsors and many Baltimore County Agencies, the Towsontown Spring Festival has turned into the largest outdoor festival in Maryland and one of the largest on the east coast. Approximately 250,000 visitors attend the two day event with more than 450 vendors to satisfy the appetites of our patrons. The festival features three entertainment stages with over 30 acts and numerous national attractions.Opening ceremonies are held at the corner of Washington and Pennsylvania Avenues at 12:00 pm Saturday. Prior to opening ceremonies there will be Bag Pipers, Color Guard and the Chief Musician from the Department of the Navy to sing the National Anthem. Bring your family and friends to enjoy all our wonderful summertime foods, unique vendors and the variety of entertainment!

Springfest celebrates spring and the upcoming summer season. It is four dynamic days of delicious food, live entertainment and unique arts and crafts under four huge big top tents located in the Inlet Lot at the south end of Ocean City’s famous Boardwalk. This multi division parade includes 180 units representing over 50 police departments from as far away as Illinois as well as contingents from the Canadian Royal Mounted Police and the elite US Marine Corp 8th and I Marching Unit from Washington D.C. assigned to the President of the United States. This event includes many crowd pleasers such as The Mummers, New York PD Emerald Society Bagpipe Band, New York City PD Marching Band and many others. In addition to being a fun-filled day for thousands of families around the state, it honors all police officers and law enforcement agents for their dedication to duty, especially those injured or those who gave their lives in the line of duty protecting our country. Fund raising events for the parade are held throughout the year. They include such things as a program book sold along the parade route, dinners, dances, a golf tournament, and Rodeo Round up. Since 1891. The Polish Constitution Day Parade is the largest Polish parade outside of Poland, and celebrates the anniversary of the ratification of the Polish Constitution of May 3, 1791. This Chicago parade is in honor of this historic document, the first democratic constitution in Europe and second in the world only to the United States Constitution is once again expected to draw 250,000 eager revelers.
