Join us at the German Sausage Festival for Elberta's famous German sausage and sauerkraut, plus continuous entertainment for adults and children, and 200 arts and crafts booths. Other scrumptious foods will include German style filled cabbage, potato salad, goulash, red beans and rice, hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ sandwiches, ice cream, popcorn and peanuts. There will be baked goods as well as arts and crafts for sale at the festival. The Bellview Stumpfiddle Band will perform with the North End Stompers, and cloggers, carnival rides and polka, country and German music will also be provided for entertainment. The sausage festival is a town fund- raiser, spearheaded by Elberta's Volunteer Fire Department in 1978, whose proceeds are used for improving not only the fire department, but the town as well.

You’ve probably heard of Comic-Con, the huge celebration of comic books, video games and popular culture. This year’s Flower Show will be a veritable Horti-Con, honoring the crusaders, innovative tools and legendary plants helping to make us all champions in the battle for garden supremacy!

Since 1840. It began as "Breeder's Day", a single day livestock show and mule market event held on the first Monday in April. Over time, "Mule Day" evolved from a single day event into a multi-day festival, attracting thousands of attendees, lasting almost a week. The heavy involvement of Maury County in the mule industry has caused the event to grow over time into "one of the largest livestock markets in the world." Activities include mule shows, mule pulling, arts and crafts, flea market, knife show, liars contest, pancake breakfast, parade on Saturday and a beauty pageant to select Mule Day Queen. The wagon train leaves on Monday and arrives at the park on Wednesday. Activities begin Thursday at 8am in Maury Park.

Since 1983, Macon has 275,000 blossoming Yoshino cherry trees during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Features over 500 events, of which 90 percent are free. Concerts are held daily, featuring the blues, urban, gospel, bluegrass, classic rock and pop. Also takes place at various locations.
